Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) for all orders placed on britishwater.com.

Please find below the general terms and conditions of sale (GTC), which serve as the basis for processing and executing customer purchase contracts on the britishwater.ch website. The privacy policies can be found in a separate document, also in the appendix.

The customer is any natural or legal person who enters into a transaction for commercial purposes, in particular through a secure online payment procedure implemented and managed by the banking institutions whose services britishwater.ch has engaged.

 1. RECOGNITION OF CONDITIONS

The customer accepts the general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) as soon as they place an order by clicking on "Order," and this applies to all orders for products and/or services found on the britishwater.ch website. The contractual relationship between britishwater.ch and the customer is governed by Swiss law. This document forms an integral part of the sales contract.

 2. CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT

2.1 Contracts concluded on britishwater.com are exclusively in French. When ordering items, your contracting party is A+B Solutions LLC, britishwater.com, Chemin de la Meunière 10, 1008 Prilly, Switzerland.

2.2 By clicking on "Order," you are placing a binding order for the items in your shopping cart. We will confirm receipt of your order by email after receiving full payment for the order. At this point, a contract is concluded between the customer and pure-filters.ch.

2.3 Please note that if you choose to pay by bank transfer, the order of the goods will be effective upon receipt of the full payment for the goods and any shipping costs.

 3. PRICES AND SHIPPING COSTS

3.1 Prices are quoted in Swiss francs.

3.2 The prices indicated on the articles at the time of the order apply. The prices indicated are inclusive of the legal value added tax. The price of the articles does not include shipping costs.

3.3 The amount of the shipping costs is automatically calculated according to the destination and the content of the order. They appear in the summary before the conclusion of the order.

3.4 We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The prices indicated at the time of the order are decisive.

 4. PAYMENT

4.1 We offer our customers the possibility to use different payment methods such as advance payment by bank transfer, credit card payment, Paypal and TWINT. For each order we reserve the right not to accept a payment method. Please note that we only accept payments from accounts in Switzerland and the European Union (EU). You are responsible for potential cash transaction fees and exchange rates.

4.2 The order will be considered accepted by britishwater.com when the banks have given their approval and britishwater.com has validated the order by sending a confirmation email to the customer's address listed in the customer account.

4.3 In order to limit fraud, britishwater.ch reserves the right to request proof of the customer's address and identity before confirming their order. britishwater.ch also reserves the right to cancel the order in the absence of proof or data deemed non-compliant.

4.4 In the event of a refund, we will refund you to the account you used for the payment.

 5. DELIVERY

5.1 Unless otherwise agreed between the customer and britishwater.ch, the order will be delivered to the delivery address specified in the britishwater.ch customer account.

5.2 We are only obliged to deliver the articles in our stock and those that we can order from our suppliers. We ship your orders within Switzerland and Europe. If the term is formulated in working days, we mean all days from Monday to Friday. This does not include Saturdays and Sundays as well as legal holidays in Switzerland.

5.3 The information provided by the customer when placing an order (name, billing and delivery address) is binding. britishwater.ch is not responsible for any errors made by the customer when registering their britishwater.ch account or placing their order.

5.4 britishwater.ch reminds you that, in accordance with Art. 185 of the Swiss Code of Obligations, the risks are transferred to the purchaser upon conclusion of the contract.

 6. RIGHT OF RESTITUTION

6.1 For orders placed onbritishwater.ch, britishwater.ch accepts a right of return within a total of 30 days from receipt of the goods (the period begins on the day after receipt). In order to exercise the right of return, the customer must not have used the goods, which must be returned complete and intact in their original packaging.

To exercise this right, the customer must notify us by email at info@britishwater.ch, mentioning the order number, and our support team will guide you through the process.

6.2 Return shipping costs are covered by britishwater.ch.

6.3 It is possible to exchange the goods if the customer is not satisfied. However, the customer must not have used the goods, they must be returned whole and undamaged and in their original packaging.

 7. GUARANTEE

7.1 The statutory warranty of two years for defective products applies. During this period, the customer may request the repair or replacement of the defective product.

7.2 Products are guaranteed by their manufacturers for the duration and under the terms and conditions indicated on britishwater.com. No warranty claims will be accepted beyond the period offered by britishwater.com.

7.3 The warranty is excluded in case of defects caused by the customer. This applies in particular in the case of improper handling or misuse.

 8. MODIFICATIONS OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

8.1 britishwater.ch reserves the right to modify or adjust the general terms and conditions of sale in the future if technical or legal reasons require it. The modifications shall become part of the contract as soon as the customer accepts them.

8.2 If individual provisions of the contract are or become wholly or partly invalid, or if the contract has an unforeseen shortcoming, the validity of the remaining provisions or parts thereof shall not be affected. Ineffective or missing clauses shall be replaced by the corresponding legal regulations.

 9. FOR LEGAL

In case of dispute, the place of jurisdiction is Lausanne.

DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT

britishwater.ch pays particular attention to the trust and security of its customers. That is why britishwater.ch complies with Swiss law on the processing of personal data so that its customers can browse the site securely.

The customer account allows us to access information recorded by the customer on britishwater.ch. The customer accesses it with a password. They can then view their orders and newsletter subscriptions.
The billing and delivery address will only be requested when placing an order. In order to complete an order, we will also need your payment details. However, we do not collect your payment details; these are only used by Swiss banks. Once the order has been placed, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. Your email address is also used as identification for your britishwater.ch customer account login.
We use your personal data throughout the purchase order process. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties except to service providers we use to fulfill your order (such as the carrier and banks). The customer logs into their account to make it easier to navigate the britishwater.ch website. They use their britishwater.ch customer account to place orders.
For security reasons, if the customer wishes to change any personal information in their britishwater.ch customer account, they will be required to re-enter their password.

1.2 Newsletter
britishwater.ch uses the email address provided for the britishwater.ch customer account to send informational emails. Customers can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

2. Cookies
